Pullman Arts Commission, Empty Storefronts
Project
In 2014, the Pullman Arts Commission looked to fill the empty storefront windows on Main Street in Pullman, WA. The exhibition aimed to get art from Washington State University students and local artists in the windows to liven up the downtown area. My contribution included 22 embroidered works on painted fabric. Each piece showcased a popular building or a building of personal importance in the Pullman community. The works were on display for one month in the empty storefront and then moved temporarily to Poppy Salon for a solo exhibit.
